manhandle material. Never throw materials or allow them to

drop (Bombing). Materials to be stored in a safe and

secure manner, to prevent them accidentally falling or being knocked off the working platform when at height.

Long tube to be stored horizontally and only positioned upright immediately before use. When positioned up right always rest into a corner to help prevent falling.

Only the material being used to be out on the scaffold until boarded areas are erected to store.

Correct hitches for rope lifting used and tube only raised or lowered in 1’s or 3’s.

Handling Materials by hand and mechanical aids
