component evaluation. NBS developed the state-of-the-
art Generating Bank Data Collection System (GenBank
DCS) and employs the system to map the entire
Generating Bank.
Completely wireless, the GenBank DCS offers advanced
electronic data collection that reduces manual entry
time. This system produces accurate measurements of
the drums, tube thickness, and the completed rolled joint
percentage of wall reduction.

NBS Gen Bank DCS Î Eliminates manual data entry and provides cost-effective
data collection capabilities.
Î Measures tube sheet holes by extracting information using 3-point bore mics and resolves data to a spreadsheet representing the drum hole layout.
Î Color codes data according to wall reduction percentage.
Î Identifies oversized or undersized tube sheet holes and under-rolled or over-rolled generating bank tubes.
