Vision:

� That all animals enjoy an optimal quality of life, protection and kindness.

Goals:

� Promote, facilitate and provide rescue, foster and lifetime homes for abandoned, abused and unwanted

animals.

� Decrease unwanted domestic animal populations by promoting and facilitating spay and neuter activities.

� Provide education related to proper animal care and treatment.

� Improve the quality of life for feral domestic animal populations.

� Establish a physical location for an animal shelter in the Triple­S region of Manitoba.

� Partner with like­minded community groups and enterprises for the benefit of local animal care and

welfare.

Membership Terms and Conditions:

� General membership is open to adults (age 18 and up).

� The Board of Directors reserves the right to refuse membership for any reason that the Board in its sole and absolute discretion determines to be reasonable, considering the vision and goals of PPAR.

� Memberships are effective immediately upon approval and processing of the membership application and fee, and are valid for one year.

� Membership fees are not categorized as donations and therefore are not eligible for tax receipts.

� Memberships are not automatically renewed; however PPAR’s Membership Committee will contact members with a renewal offer in advance of expiry.

� Membership will be considered terminated if: o The annual term expires and the membership is not renewed; o The member chooses to cancel their membership; o The member dies; o The PPAR Board of Directors revokes the membership.

� The Board of Directors reserves the right to revoke membership if: o The member carries out any conduct which is contrary to or which may be detrimental to PPAR’s

vision and goals as determined by the Board in its sole discretion; o The member acts or speaks on behalf of PPAR, through public media or otherwise, unless

explicitly authorized by PPAR to do so while serving as a Board member, Committee member or other authorized Volunteer;

o The member violates any written policy of PPAR; o For any other reason that the Board in its sole and absolute discretion determines to be

reasonable, considering the vision and goals of PPAR.
