Our innovative solutions for pallet storage and box/crate storage make the difference compared with the well-known systems in the market like stacker cranes (AS/RS systems) and multishuttles. Goods-to-manTo bring the efficiency to an even higher level, we bring the items to the operator by one of the many product handling systems Viscon Logisticscan provide. An operator receives the items fully automated and in the required sequence. This can be done by our innovative automatedstorage systems where items to pick can directly be offered to anyposition.

With Viscon’s Warehouse Control System by Viscon LogisticsControl ( -WCS) you are efficiently in control regarding yourlogictics in our compact storage systems, sorting lines and otherlogistical processes. Based on your preferred strategy forstorage (high density of products or ABC) and retrieval (FIFO or LIFO)all processes are being handled as efficiently as possible by the VLC -WCS.

The VLC-WCS proves this by using smart and proven algorithms,and by controlling and monitoring all other (mechanical andPLC) components directly. By using (automated) scanners, buffersand other smart components, we make these processes fast,precise and safe.

With VLC-WCS you have access to all current (and historical) data at any given moment, directly through our interface or via one of our own systems. With our graphic interface, with different information layers of your choice, our system can be controlled manually. VLC can support your logistics from A to Z as a stand alone package, but can also be seamlessly connected with your ERP system.

With our worldwide network of Viscon offices and distributors, we can provide a full and comprehensive service in almost any country in the world, enabling us to react quickly and efficiently where necessary. The service and maintenance department of Viscon offers on site service and can be contacted 24 hours a

day, seven days a week. Possible electrical malfunctions in a production line can also be located or solved from within our company using internet and web cam technology. This way production downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum.

Viscon provides different kinds of solutions for either storing, sortingor orderpicking as defined in this brochure. However, a project ap-proach is elementary at Viscon Logistics. Directly after the order award the existing customer contact is being extended with a project team on both sides. To ensure both parties, that each party lives up to the expectations, Viscon insists on a clear, agreed upon communication structure and clear recorded requirements in the form of a detailed functional specification. This creates the opportunity to measure the progress in the project as well.

The initial contact with a client will take place with a sales engineer. This person will remain responsible for the project throughout the entire process and will be the point of contactfor the client. This will ensure made agreements will remainclear. On a more detailed level, an experienced project managerwill join the team. This project manager will take care of thetimely engineering of all (parts of ) processes and guard the vasthigh quality which is the standard at Viscon. We can provideyou with many references where our reliable solutions areoperating. Our sales engineers can arrange an appointment at yourrequest.

Since 1927 our company has been involved in automation in the agro/horticultural sector, where we started out in the Flax industry, the soft wire mater al used to produce clothing. This company was established by the great grandfather of the current generation owners, Jan Visser. After the demise in the flax business in 1967, the next Visser generationstarted to buy and sell equipment in the horticultural industryunder the new company name ‘Visser I.T.E.’. As the horticulture industryrapidly grew and diversified, it created a demand for custom mademachinery. The Visser family took this opportunity and started todevelop and manufacture their own machinery and provide custommade automation projects.

Years later, the experience and success in horticulture led to expansionin different Agro & Food related sectors, such as ‘Fresh Produce’, ‘Poultry´ and ‘Food Logistics’, which where named ‘Viscon‘: deductedfrom Visser Construction. In the last two decades the familycompany grew from approximately 40 employees, to over 200 employees active in different sectors all over the world. As for today, several business units, eachdedicated to a specific industry, form the ‘Viscon Group’. The Visser family DNA can be detected anywhere in the company:

entrepreneurship, innovation, high technical standards and creativityhave been the heartbeat of the organisation ever since they starteddesigning and manufacturing themselves.
