best I've ever had. To be honest, as corny as it sounds, they really do make you feel like

month later and bought my 2011 Dyna Fat Bob! I've been back a couple of times since

my purchase and again, was treated as before...like family. One of the other salesmen

even remembered my name, shook my hand and welcomed me back.

To say that I am happy with my purchase would be an understatement as I am happy

with it but even more so with whom I've done business. Let's just say at Woodstock

Harley Davidson, they really know the meaning of customer service!"

matter how many times you change your mind or how many questions you have! For Gene, it is less

Gene Lambert is an exceptional and very knowledgeable salesperson who truly demonstrates that he is interested in helping his customer in a no-pressure and informative manner. Its very refreshing.

Further, this guy knows his stuff when it comes to the new 2014 models and the features they offer. As a result, he was able to answer each of my questions and compare the features to prior year models. This was very helpful in sorting out which model was right for me and I decided to purchase a Street Glide Special.

I cannot say enough good things about the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful assistance that Gene and the whole team at Woodstock Harley Davidson provided. The one thing i truly appreciate is how everyone at this dealership goes out of their way to make you feel special and welcome. “I met Gene Lambert in 2012 when I started looking for my first Harley. I liked the fact

that he understood that I was there to buy a bike but not until the following year. He

didn't push the issue and said that when I was ready to purchase one he would be

more than happy to make me a satisfied customer. This didn't stop him from having

me fitted for the bike of my dreams and assisting me in making some choices and

options.

I returned in the early part of May 2013 and started negotiating a deal. After some

phone calls and him promising to get me the best bike for the best price we made a

deal. On May 15th, 2013 I got to ring the bell and ride off on my new Ultra Classic

Limited. Not only did Gene keep his promise of making me a satisfied customer but I

feel he went above and beyond making me completely happy! Even though I have

only owned the bike for a month and a half I feel like I've known Gene for a lot longer.

"I have always wanted a Harley and finally felt it was time to own one. Last September,

my wife and I went to the Woodstock HD dealer and were greeted by Gene Lambert.

Due to my zero motorcycle experience (in fact I never rode a bike), Gene Lambert spent

a significant amount of time familiarizing us with HD history and explaining bike types,

categories, facts, etc. Because of Gene's vast motorcycle knowledge, I felt comfortable

with the selection and ultimate purchase; a 2011 Electra Glide Ultra Limited.

During the decision-making process, Gene was eager to take me on road-tests and

patient as we evaluated several bike models. Gene is a wealth of HD knowledge and

obviously takes great care of his customers. Once the purchase was finalized, Gene saw

that I was signed up on the next Motorcycle beginner class to be followed by the bike skill

test at the DMV.

This was my best vehicle purchase experience.If you are thinking of purchasing a HD

bike, you should definitely stop by WHD and ask for Gene Lambert.

"I am a first time bike owner/rider and have Woodstock H-D to thank for helping make my

dreams come true. And Gene Lambert is the guy that helped make this possible.

At 62 years young I had strong fears walking into a "Bikers Hangout" and was

anticipating being in way over my head with a bunch of intimidating tough guys. Boy was

I wrong and pleasantly surprised. Every person in the store made eye contact and

offered a big hello with a genuine smile. And Gene Lambert, my sales guy, was one of

the most knowledgeable, patient and easiest going of the bunch. Gene took his time with

me on numerous trips into the store; making sure that the right bike picked me and that

we were suited for each other, a bike that would be a natural fit for me. His knowledge of

all the different bikes and features made it easy for me to ask more questions until I was

able to select "my bike" a Street Glide.

"After riding for years it was finally time to move up from my 2005 800cc Boulevard C50T. I had a good idea of what

features I wanted but wasn't sold on any particular brand of bike. In order to make an informed decision of was

available, my wife and I visited several dealerships in several states across several manufacturers before calling my

local Harley dealer in Woodstock, IL. From that first call I could tell these guys had a plan. The sales manager took my

call (as he takes all inbound sales calls) and based on his experience and insight into customer needs, he paired me

with a particular sales consultant that he thought I would connect with. This simple but effective step was the beginning

to a wonderful buying experience.

I came in the next day and met Gene Lambert who immediately started to get to know me and what was important to

me. Gene's knowledge and experience added value to our relationship by injecting facts and information into our

discussion that effectively guided me throughout the pre-sales process. Never once did Gene appear disinterested or

distracted and provided focused and helpful information throughout the days before the purchase. We went through

nearly every suitable bike in the showroom evaluating features, cost and value. After looking at many new and

previously owned bikes I found my bike, or should I say it found me! It is a 2010 HD Electra Glide Ultra CVO Screaming

Eagle and I couldn’t be happier.

Often times there are disconnects between the various departments and a customer can get lost in the noise. I can

assure you that this won't happen at Woodstock Harley Davidson with Gene as your Sales Consultant. Gene took the

time to give me a tour of the entire operation. I met the owner, the service manager, the sales manager as well as some

of the other staff which gave me an immediate sense of belonging. Gene's expert knowledge and exceptional desire to

satisfy customer need is second to none. He made sure I knew that I can come to him with any issue or need and he

would take care of it. If it was a parts or service issue, he would get someone else who could help. I've brought my wife

and daughter into the showroom and they have been well taken care of. From a helmet fitting to answering "silly"

questions, or just filling a bag of popcorn the staff at Woodstock Harley Davidson really puts the customer first. If you’re

in the market for a new bike, or even if you’re not, do yourself a favor and checkout Woodstock Harley Davidson, you

won’t be disappointed!"

"Woodstock Harley and Gene Lambert were the 5th Harley dealership we walked into

looking to upgrade our Harley. Everyone else was extremely arrogant and rude, but when

we walked into Woodstock Gene approached us immediately and made us feel at home.

He took the time to chat with us, even when my husband got stuck on the one bike he

wanted (which we ended up with).

We walked in planning on using our trade in and cash for a bike, but ended up taking out

a small loan with it. Everyone was great! Gene hung on, waiting a few days for us to

decide if we wanted to take out a loan, and then having to wait until our taxes came back

(that was our cash up front) since they were delayed. Not once did he get pushy about

trying to get us to take out a bigger loan instead of waiting, or get irritated that we had to

wait. He even went out of his way to make sure that we didn't have to put down the

money they usually request to hold the bike we wanted since they had the bike we owned

there already. They even picked up our bike free of charge since that would have been

one cold ride down there for my husband!

"I went into WSHD, looking for an Electra Glide in cool blue/black. I was approached by

Gene, who asked if I was being helped, or if I was looking for something in particular to

which he would direct me. I guess the deer in the headlights look gave me away... To

make a short story long, Gene and I discussed what I was looking for and when he told

me he had the colors I was looking for in a used 2011, I asked if I could order it new but

unfortunately, those were last year’s colors.

Gene and I took a walk to the barn just in case there was a new '11 looking for a home.

As we talked, Gene asked what I did for a living. When I told him I was a police officer, he

looked me in the eye, put his hand out to shake mine, and said "Thank you for your

service". That did it for me. I would buy a bike from nobody else because of that simple

acknowledgement from him. It wasn't b.s. to make a sale, it was genuine respect.

We didn't find what I was looking for, but I spied a 2012 Ultra Limited tucked in on the

showroom floor that was just gorgeous. Gene and I sat down and by the time we were

done, I felt I got a deal nobody else could touch (and I was right) so I put down a deposit

to hold it until I could return with the rest of the money. Every time I speak to Gene, it's

like talking to someone I've known for years. Woodstock HD has a talent in Gene's ability

to guide a customer into the bike they want to be on, NOT overselling someone to make

a buck. A little respect goes a long way. My new Limited gets delivered tomorrow. Thanks

My wife and I have been doing business with WHD or over 10 years. Weve had nothing but positive

experiences, from sales to service. Gene Lambert is exactly the type of person you expect to meet at WHD

and has quickly become an integral part of the team.

An important take away, for me, is Genes willingness to work with his clients before, during, and after the

purchase transaction.

Id talked with Gene before and I knew exactly what bike I wanted. After the test ride, I realized there were a

couple of things that I would need to make the bike work for me. Gene pulled in technical experts (Randy and

Timmy) to find a combination of parts that would fit my needs (and fit the bike). That took time and no one

tried to hurry me along in decision making. We hammered out a deal and the bike was mine.

I took Gene up on his offer to help me with questions after the sale. For a couple weeks, I had a ton of

questions about the bike, paperwork, and some other stuff. All had been covered and explained to me before,

and Gene was very patient and thorough in re-explaining everything.

Big kudos to the entire Service team also. They kept me informed on progress for two bikes that were in for

basic service (the 2013 and a 2001 FLHPI trike). I trust these folks exclusively to take care of our Harley's.

Terry & Tammy Searcy – McHenry, IL

Gene was a great guy very helpfull and knowledgable. I was originaly

interested in new switchback and because of my size, Gene asked us to look at

a Hertage Softail for the ride and the comfort for both me and my wife. After

test driving both bikes the purchase was clear. We purchased the Hertage

softail.

Thank you so much Gene for your patience with us and your knowledege of the

bikes. If you were an adverage sales person I would have test drove the new

Switchback and left in disapointment.
