GEA Manual Lifting Gate

Manually operated — the lifting gate opens and closes by

lifting the gate up/down vertically.

Easy to operate — the gate is lightweight and it stays at the

height you want. The locking mechanism of the gate closes

automatically on both sides. The gate is released with a lever.

Fully adjustable — fits a variety of openings from 7 to 20 ft.

Modular design — four base models combined with a 3 ft.

telescoping insert easily adjusts to fit a variety of openings.

Durable — hot-dipped galvanized construction.

Spring assisted lifting — to ensure safe and effortless

operation.

Example — Waiting area in free cow flow barnWith free-cow traffic, the need to guide a cow towards the robot is sometimes

required. By lowering the lifting gate, you can create a temporary waiting

area in front of the milking robot.

Example — Separation areaA section of the barn that is used for normal living space can be made into a

“temporary” separation area by lowering the lifting gate, creating an area where cows can be separated for herd management tasks. The benefits are that cows remain

visible and they have normal access to feed, water and freestalls for less stress.

GEA Single-Pipe Barrier With Spring

Creates a temporary separation to guide groups of cows in areas with frequent traffic.

Convenient cow routing — easily guide cows to and

from the milking area and/or across feed alleys. Vertical

lifting means you do not need to swing the gate through a

group of cows.

Extendable — consists of a base and extendable piece;

available in three lengths for openings from 7 to 20 feet.

Safe and easy to operate — a spring in the pivot

point (base) makes the barrier easy to open and close. An

integrated locking mechanism ensures the barrier stays in

an open position.

No extra space required — vertical lifting and base

housing can be rotated up to 180 degrees. It can be

mounted to the wall or support post.

Durable — hot-dipped galvanized tubing.
