N.D. 657-11 GE Appliances GE Consumer Products General Electric Company Louisville, Kentucky 40225 Service Bulletin ELECTRIC RANGES RA 02-03 T09 CONTROLS ELECTRICAL WIRING IS INCORRECT AUGUST 2003 You may encounter ovens where the control is flashing “Bad” followed by “Line” in sequence with a continuous tone. In such cases, the electrical connection between the appliance and the house is wired incorrectly. The power cord is incorrectly installed or the house wiring at the wall receptacle is incorrect. The appliance is receiving 240V between L1 (black) and Neutral (white). The customer should contact the installer or a licensed electrician to properly connect the oven. THE CONTROL DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REPLACED. If GECS services the product, use job code 016.
