GC2 Ideas For the show High School Musical my specific project was creating a backboard and sourcing a basketball net for the scene where the sport basketball is heavily involved. For my original idea's I looked at other basketball nets and backboards used in America at their high schools so I made my backboard contextually correct and it created the illusion of a real backboard even though it wasn't the same material. I also watched the scenes in the movie adaption to try and make them look similar.

Before I started drawing up designs I found this picture and altered the sizes to fit into the set and space provided so it looked correct to the script and it was aesthetically correct.
