It is with gratitude that we present this annual report, which is one small way for us to thank and recognize all of Goshen’s donors who have provided generous support to the College during the 2011-12 fiscal year.

Total gifts to the College from all alumni, parents, friends, and organizations was $3,694,269, an increase of 5.69 percent over last year. Imagine the impact that all of these gifts, combined, have on the young men and women who pursue their education at Goshen, and the further impact they will have on the world they will help lead and influence.

As we continue to advance Goshen’s most important objectives, we know it is due to your faithful support and encouragement that our students and faculty are able to reach their potential.

GOSHEN COLLEGE GIVING CLUBSThe combined giving power of GC giving club members is truly phenomenal, whether they join the Builders at a minimum gift of $1 a day or the President’s Circle at $25,000 per year or more. Together, these giving clubs provided $1,078,071 in unrestricted giving for the fiscal year 2011-12. The tradition of giving clubs took root at Goshen College in the ’60s, when a group of donors decided to begin giving $1,000 annually to the Goshen College Fund. Five separate clubs now support the GC Fund. These “unrestricted” gifts support every student and department on campus and allow the college to respond to needs as they arise. We gratefully acknowledge the generosity of all these friends and alumni.
