The Quarryman’s Cut.

Premium Australian Sandstone The enduring impression of sandstone is evident in its capacity to gracefully brave the harsh and fluctuating environment of Australia’s prehistoric landscape. From forty thousand-year-old Aboriginal rock art, through to the heritage-listed buildings of Federation, sandstone has long been a staple of ancient, and now modern, Australian architecture.

Resilient, robust yet easy to work, this range embodies the lands geological spirit in a select palate of formations, tones and textural contrasts.

The Quarryman’s Cut is a premium collection of walling veneers dedicated to the historical craft of convict inspired, sandstone masonry.

Skilfully prepared in honour of traditional techniques, our three available varieties include:

Armfield Light, Belshaw Blended and Dankworth Golden.

It's important to note there can be significant variation in colour, texture and tone across each finish. The above

swatches are intended as general indicators only. Gather Co has no control over the natural variation that occurs

across blocks extricated from developing quarry sites. This unavoidable fact must be accounted for when specifying

and variety within the Quarryman’s Cut collection.

Product Variation Variation has been carefully considered when producing our surface collections. Colour, tone, composition, and texture are all naturally occurring characteristics of stone and will always differ from piece to piece.

Variation may also result in significant inconsistencies when delivered product is compared to any samples presented. That said, variation is in no way considered a material defect. It’s precisely what makes stone so uniquely beautiful.

Please be sure to seriously consider these inherent characteristics whenever assessing the suitability of any Gather Co surface.

Corner Pieces.

Ensure Authenticity All varieties within The Quarryman’s Cut are produced with corresponding prefabricated corners. These pieces are intended to provide an authentic looking corner detail and eliminate the need to either miter or, expose unsightly sawn edges.

*Corner pieces are calculated in lineal meters(LM).
