    Subject: NON POLLUTING treatment of forestry or agricultural biomass and of Municipal Solid

    Waste (MSW) as collected in the street.

    Gasosyn Energies Canadapromotes a new Canadian technology, with worldwide opportunities, to

    transform Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) into a synthetic gas called SYNGAS, in order to replace

    fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas. This technology,known as THERMOCYCLINGtmusing a

    GASOSYNtmto extract oil, at the Plant, from contaminated soil and to recycle 100% of biomassinto

    Green Energies,is a non-polluting process.

    Oil and organic material are mainly composed of Hydrogen (H2), Carbon (C) and Oxygen (O2) linked

    together in numerous structures to make different products from natural gas to oil, gasoline, alcohol,

    wood, flower, cereal and even meat residues. NO airor oxygen is used; no organic material is burnt

    to produce heat inside the treated material. The GASOSYNtmis a completely indirectly heated

    reactor, where the material is heated to crack it down to its simple composing elements.

    For example, when indirectly heated, in a recipient over a fire, ice is transformed first into water and,

    with more heat added, into vapor that can stay in its gas state in the surrounding air, we can literally

    boil solid organic materials to their permanent gas state which is Carbon Oxide (CO) and

    Hydrogen (H2), in a composition called SYNGAS,for synthetic gas made from organic material.

    We have developed such a series of reactors, called GASOSYNtm, to heat organic material from

    500C (900F) up to 1 200C (2 192F) to produce char, oil and Syngasor only SYNGASwith

    higher temperature; then SYNGAScan be used in numerous ways.

    We have originally installed a special unit connected to a power plant in order to transform wood

    residues into char, oil and Syngas. It has been operating and processing between 2 to 3 metric

    tons of wood residues per hour, for more than 2000 hours. Recently itwas sold to a company, in

    western USA, it is a 538C unit (1000F) to be used, in following months,for the simultaneous production of:

    a) CHAR, for soil remediation AND carbon sequestration;(giving access to carbon credits)

    b) Wood oil to be fired in boilers, or ovens to replace fossil fuels like natural gas, oil or coal,

    giving other carbon credits;

    produces SYNGAS,which can be reformed, with a catalytic process, in refinery quality petroleum

    products like kerosene, used forcooking stoves and other, jet fuel, diesel and gasoline or

    chemical plastic bases, always in a NON POLLUTING manner.

    The cleaned SYNGAS, when burning is exactly like natural gas, no polluting chimney emission. All

    ashes at GASOSYNtmoutlet are used as aggregates in concrete products without any pollution or

    directly landfilled, according to local bylaws.

    The GASOSYNtm is the reactor it self with the added section for cleaning and conditioning of the

    SYNGAS made when boiling and heating the feedstock. A GASOSYNtm is the core of a

    Thermocyclingtmplant which is the site (plant) where we do a lot of things to receive feedstock,

    make some useful products and store them, to be sold to third parties, including Carbon credits.

    THERMOCYCLINGtm is the name of the process, and by extension a site (treatment plant), in

    reference to all accessories, machines and processes, to receive feedstock, break, shred, sort,

    store, (silos, bins) transport, (conveyers) and direct received material to the GASOSYNtm, recover

    the heat to make steam and other products or services. It could be assimilated to an industrial park.

    Because we cannot store the SYNGAS, the site or plant shall be equipped to use the heat and the

    SYNGAS in different ways. It means installing electrical gas turbines and accessories to feed

    electricity to the local electrical distribution grid or produce kerosene, diesel and gasoline in installing

    a catalytic reformer plant along with tanks to store the products made on the site.

    MSWcan be of any composition with no separation before feeding the GASOSYNtm, see the Annex

    for composition of the typical Canadian MSW andSYNGAS produced from it.

    It is to be noted that there are no air and water polluting emissions out of a THERMOCYCLINGtm

    plant using a GASOSYN tm; it will not affect the security and the health of the workers and the

    people living in the vicinity of the plant.
