10.3 Branding Logo and ethos

Core colours

The logo to the left is a proposed logo for Kurt Geiger Junior, the childrens footwear brand expansion. The colours from the logo have been selected from core colours used by Kurt Geiger, so that the consumers can instantly recognise that it is a branch of the company.

The font faces are playful and fun for the children, with a small logo of shoes in the middle.

The brand ethos is

Fun

Playful

Carefree

Fashionable The collection has been designed to reference the adult collection, however parents highlighted the fact that they didn't want their children to be too grown up.

The brand ethos is about letting the children have fun doing what they do, in good quality footwear, whilst looking good.
