Through out history People have worshiped and praised water
because they knew that with out it they would die.
Today most of us take our water for granted. We have for gotten how valuable
water really is and how it must be respected.
Source of pollution• 200 million liters of
untreated human sewage is drained in to the Ganges river every day
• Half burnt bodies and cremated ashes are floating along the river
• 1.7 billion Domestic and industrial pollutants such as major leather companies are dumping their waste into the river daily out of which 1.4 billion are untreated

Effects of pollution in the river
• Fishes in the Ganges river are becoming extinct
• The Ganges dolphin has a population of only 2000and is now an endangered species
Can They Be Educated? The Hindu people understand and know the river’s Conditions; Yet to them this river is their mother, their provider and they can’t leave her in her time of need. They will continue drink from her and pray in her waters and until something is done.
