90% Of all Gang members are African American or Hispanic.

Gangs will use anything they find as weapons. They don’t care what ever it takes to cause harm to another person. Even everyday objects.

7% of all teens in America ages (13-18) are in a gang. This number is expected to rise in the coming years.

The reason why gang violence happens is people want to show that they are “cool”. Also some kids get interested in violence and gang life. They think they have nothing to live for so they relay on gangs to make them well known. Over 10,000 people are killed each year by gang violence.

Take Action Kid FriendlyThere is no way that you

can stop gang violence. But you can make it a

whole lot better. One way to help stop the violence is stay in school. Keep your mind focused on school work and friends. Also hang out with the right people. Never be with people who do drugs underage drinking or

violence.
