Gamification
• Teacher goes from “sage on the stage” to “guide on the side”
http://www.gamification.co/2012/01/13/gamification-vs-game-based-learning-in-education/
Why Gamification?
“People often say motivation doesn’t last. Neither does bathing—that’s why
we recommend it daily.” – Zig Ziglar
Dr Wayne Holmes, Zondle’s head of Education, became convinced
of the pedagogical benefits of gamification while conducting
research for his Ph.D. in Education at Oxford University.
