Limbo• Objective/criteria: The aim of the game is to bend over

backwards whilst passing under a pole, • How to achieve: the person who can pass under the pole in the

bent position at its lowest wins.• Reason: to discover the most flexible person in the group.• Hidden meaning/ lessons: the limbo is also a name for a place

between heaven and hell, and as the bar gets lower it can represent the difficulty of going to heaven.

Pinata• Objective/criteria: to hit a papier mache anything full of small prizes, usually sweets, but the

‘contestant’ is blindfolded and they use a stick to hit a hanging papier mache thing. • How to achieve: hit the piñata to get as many prizes as possible.• Reason: to make people see that things don’t come easy to anyone, and the harder the task the

sweeter the reward.• Hidden meaning/ lessons: the meaning behind this game is because it’s a celebration of good

things, things fall from the sky and you can’t see or have control over what comes to you. On a deeper meaning it’s also saying that a person has little control over the things they receive and how they get them.

• links to society: This is an international game played from China(where it’s thought to have began) to Mexico. It brings people close together because when the piñata is broken all the ‘contestants’ come together and share in the prize.

Pin the tail on the donkey

Objective/criteria: to attach a tail to a donkey, whilst blindfolded, and whoever pins the tail closest wins. How to achieve: you must pin a tail to the donkey picture whilst blindfolded and dizzy Hidden meaning/ lessons: the meaning behind this game is similar to the piñata, wherein if a person was to, by luck, put a tail the closest to the rump of the donkey, then you are fortunate. Personally the piñata is a more meaningful and substantial game. links to society:  in regards to society this game plays solely on the fate proposal, wherein it takes no skill.
