One of the most exciting moments in the life of The Church at Sugar Creek is the addition of new members to our family! We gladly receive those who have been transformed by the power of the Gospel and believe in their heart that this is the place for them to continue their Christian journey. Our pastor stands ready to receive your request at the end of this service. For those seeking a new life in Christ, he is thrilled to pray with you and for you!

There are four important steps to ensure you’re getting a great start to membership. First, you will complete a request for membership (you can do that today). This will help us set up a meeting for you with one of our ministers to learn how God is at work in your life and home. Then you will be invited to attend one of our 4th Sunday Discovery Gatherings (4:00 PM) sponsored by our ACTS Team. This gathering will help you learn more about the Sugar Creek family, and finally you will be presented to the church for affirmation and celebration!

Welcome to the Church at Sugar Creek! Each year about this time we engage in one of the most important processes of our church year by electing 7 men to serve a three year term on our deacon council. There are 11 more than capable and qualified men that have been nominated and on November 12 you will select 7 of them. I encourage you to take the time to read each testimony that has been provided and pray over and for each man nominated. God will direct the willing heart to the discernment of His plan for this season in our church.

I am also glad that you are here today as Scripture reminds us of the surest and blessed destiny of every person born into God’s family! Heaven is described as the place of pure perfection, unmatched beauty, and the everlasting Light! It is also the motivation for believers to share the Gospel so that loved ones all end up there.

Tonight we will celebrate the fourth generation of First Baptist Church. The years 1957-1987 held many firsts and tonight we will reflect on some of them. Garry Burkacki, Pastor of the Bethpage Church will be here to share his testimony as to how FBC helped him during that time.

On Sunday, join your Life Group at 9:30 AM and at 10:30 AM worship with our family of faith.

On Wednesday, at 8 PM come to our student-led worship and Bible study. Fall study: the book of Joshua.
