2013 – 2015

Games

• Imagine, that there are no games at all. In such a case, all the children are serious and concerned on their learning. Maybe, they would have high school performances, but would they be happy? Actually, even adults need games as well as, children. Games bring joy to our lifes. They give us opportunity to have good time and enjoy ourselves.

Games

• There is a wide range of games throughout the World. Some of them are different, some are similar. Some games you can play outside, other games are played inside or even online.

• We would like to present you 4 games.

“A blind hen”• It is an outdoor game for a group of

players, but, sometimes, you can play it inside.

• One player is chosen to be “a blind hen“:

• His eyes are tied up with a scarf or something like that.

• Then one player spins “the blind hen“ round for 2 or more times.

• Other players get away from “the blind hen“, who tries to catch and touch the players.

• The players need to make some noise, because “the blind hen“ can‘t see anything.

• When “the blind hen“ touches any player, he needs to guess whom he has caught (he can ask the player to say something).

• If he guesses , the touched player becomes “the blind hen“.

“Guess the word”

• It is an outdoor game for a group of players (more than 2).

• The players stand or sit in a line or a circle.• The leader stands in front of them. He has a ball. • The leader thinks of a word. He says to other players: • a short description of this word,• how many letters are in it, • the first and the last letter of the word.• Then the leader throws the ball to the first player, who

tries to guess the word. If he doesn‘t guess, the leader throws the ball to the second player and so on.

“Guess the word”

• If no one player guesses the word, the head player says the second letter. The games starts from the first player.

• When any player guesses the word, the leader throws the ball up and run away.

• The player, who have guessed the word, tries to catch the ball.

• Then he stops the leader and says how many steps there are from him to the leader.

• He makes so many steps, as he has said, stops, and tries to throw the ball into the hug of the leader‘s hands.

“FIND DIFFERENCES”

• It is an indoor game. It is good to check one‘s attention.

• There are four pairs of the pictures: one pair for each season. The pictures of each pair look the same. But they aren‘t. There are ten differences between these pictures. Try to find all of them.

“THE SAME LETTER“

• It is an indoor game. You just need a sheet of paper and a pen for this game. But if you want to be a winner, you also need your knowledge, memory, and imagination, as well. It is better and more interesting if this game is played by more then 2 players.

• The content is that the players have to think of the words, related to the discussed topics. All the words must begin with the same letter.

“THE SAME LETTER“

• A few agreements have to be made before the game:• 1 – you have to choose a leader for the first round of the

game;• 2 – you have to discuss what and how many topics will

be used in the game.• Topics can be : countries, towns, rivers, animals, birds,

nature phenomena, trees, plants, names of books, songs, films and so on.

• When you have considered the topics, take your sheet and draw a table: the number of the columns is equal to the number of the topics. Write the name of the topics on the top of each column.

“THE SAME LETTER“

• The leader chooses a letter and the game starts: all the players begin to write words in their tables. That player, who completes the table first, stops the game.

• Then all the players must check their words. The leader starts to read his words. If other players find the same words in their tables, they have to delete them. After that, each player calculate his points: one word – one point.

• So, if you consider to have 7 topics in your game, you can get 7 points in one round. But if you delete some words, you loose some points.

• The player, who gets the most score of points, becomes a leader for the next round.
