NEXT UP The Mocs four more games prior to the holiday break including the SoCon opener Thursday at The Citadel. They host Northern Kentucky (Dec. 16) before back-to-back Conference USA matchups at Middle Tennessee (Dec. 19) and hosting UAB (Dec. 22). The latter two contests broadcast on ASN.

HEAD COACH WILL WADE - Head Coach Will Wade is 21-20 in his second season as a head coach. He is 1-0 against Montreat.- The 18 wins in year one were the most for the Mocs since the same total in 2008-09.- Wade is 15-3 at home, 5-15 away and 1-2 in neutral site contests in his career.- Wade is a 2005 graduate of Clemson. He has worked with current collegiate head coaches Larry Shyatt (Wyoming), Oliver Purnell (DePaul), Tommy Amaker (Harvard) and Shaka Smart (VCU) at Clem-son, Harvard and VCU, respectively.- Wade’s staff includes a former head coach, Wes Long (Queens, 2009-13), former Mocs standout Casey Long (2004-07) and Brooks Savage. Savage was the Director of Basketball Ops a season ago before his promotion. Alex Wharton filled that spot with Jordan Clark (Graduate Manager), Trey Draper (Graduate Manager) and Antonio Stabler (Video Coordinator) rounding out the staff.

CHAOS CHAOS is the Chattanooga Mocs basketball brand and identity. Will Wade came to Chattanooga with a very specific vision for his team, on and off the court. Chaos is that vision.

It is not just an on-court concept. It touches upon all areas of the student-athlete experience; academi-cally, athletically & socially.

Go to GoMocs.com and click “CHAOS” in the sidebar on the right-hand side for more information.

FOR STARTERS - The quartet of Casey Jones, Justin Tuoyo, Ronrico White and Greg Pryor account for 63.4 percent (340 of 533) of the Mocs scoring output.- As previously documented, Jones has been spectacular over the last four games. He just missed three straight double-doubles, and second 20&10 in a row, last Saturday at Kennesaw State.- Jones shot 39.4 percent (13-33) from the field and 66.7 (20-30) percent from the free throw line in the season’s first four games. Since the move to starting at the four, those numbers have been 64.7 percent (22-34) and 85.3 percent (29-34), respectively.- Tuoyo paces the SoCon in blocks (2.7/gm). He has seven multi-block games in eight total contests this season. His six against Coastal Carolina is a career high.- White has just two turnovers in his last four games (125 minutes). That’s good for a 6-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

STATS STAT! - Tuoyo has 16 blocks in his last four games (4.0/gm). Including the six he had against CCU, he swatted four at Kennesaw State and had three each against Robert Morris and Georgia.- White joined the starting lineup four games ago at the two. He’s posted 12.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game since. - The Mocs have gotten three 20-point efforts over the last four games, the first such totals of the sea-son. White had 21 against Coastal Carolina, while Jones has back-to-back 20-point games with 20 vs. CCU and 22 at KSU.

SCHEDULE NOTES - For the fourth time in the last four seasons, Chat-tanooga faces a Final Four team from the previ-ous year. This time it is Wisconsin. The last three: Kansas (11/15/12), Butler (11/15/11) and Kentucky (12/17/11).- There are 17 home games on the schedule. That’s the most since 18 in 2012-13.- Georgia’s visit on December 2 will be the first SEC opponent in McKenzie Arena since Tennessee on December 4, 2007. It’s the Bulldogs first game in the Scenic City since the 1985 NIT (March 13).- There are five non-conference road games. Three of the five – Tennessee Tech (11/22), Kennesaw State (11/29) and Middle Tennessee (12/19) – are fewer

than 115 miles from campus.- Of the non-conference schools, Middle Tennessee is the most frequent opponent as this year is the 61st meeting. UTC leads 32-28. - Hiwassee, Kennesaw State, Georgia, Montreat, Northern Kentucky and UAB return to the schedule from last season.- The Badgers, Robert Morris and ULM (possible opp.) are the only first-time opponents. - Montreat is coached by former Mocs guard Lincoln Walters (1995, ’96-98).- It has been more than 10 years since the Mocs have faced either Tennessee Tech or Lipscomb. The last time the Golden Eagles crossed paths with the Mocs was Nov. 11, 2001 (13 years). The most recent meeting with the Bison was Dec. 29, 2002 (12).- UAB is back in town for the first occasion since December 16, 1997.- The SoCon is a 10-team league after all the realignment shuffle. East Tennessee State and VMI return to the conference with Mercer joining them. That leads to an 18-game, round-robin schedule ensuring all 10 school meet each other home and away during the year.

HISTORY - Chattanooga has been the dominant program since joining the SoCon in 1977-78 after winning the 1977 NCAA Division II title.- UTC has won 28 championships in 37 seasons in the league including 10 regular-season (prior to division play starting in 1994-95), eight division and 10 tournament. Davidson is second during that span with 22, 12 of which are of the division variety. - The Mocs 20 regular-season/tourney titles are far and away the most through those 37 campaigns followed by Davidson (2 reg season/8 tourney) with 10 and East Tennessee State (re-entering the league in 2014-15) with nine (3 reg season/6 tourney).- Chattanooga has won a title of some kind in 19 of its 37 years in the SoCon.- In its 94th season, Chattanooga has had a winning record 52 times. In the 38th in the DI era, the Mocs have 28 plus-.500 ledgers.- The current all-time record is 1214-1000 with a 686-451 mark in the DI era. For more history information, check the box on the right.
