Gamble Angus"Come Roll With Us - Volume IV”

COMMENTS FROM THE SALE MANAGER: On behalf of the American Angus Hall of Fame, it is certainly a pleasure to be working with Lydell and Holly Meier along with Chris and Jessica Johnson and the Gamble Family on their Fourth Annual COME ROLL WITH US, VOLUME IV, ANNUAL PRODUCTION SALE at Gamble Angus. Lydell and Holly have certainly made a strong commitment to producing eye-appealing cattle that are extremely functional from a maternal standpoint as well as excelling in the show ring. As you flip through the catalog, you will find one of the deepest sets of Angus show heifer prospects ever assembled at one annual production sale. These great show heifers are produced by breed-leading foundation females that have been backed by years of dedicated performance. These females go on to produce numerous champions and after their initial show career go on to produce dominate cattle within our industry. Gamble Angus not only produces numerous show heifer cham-pions but more importantly has gone on to provide proven herd sire prospects with outstanding EPDs. These bulls are phenotypically stout made, deep bodied and sound structured bulls that not only excel in a seedstock situation but also excel for commercial cattlemen across the country. This lineup of cattle is extremely productive and has proven to be extremely successful for the Gamble program. Now you, the buyer, have the special opportu-nity to capitalize on this grand event. Please plan to be with us on October 30, 2011, in Clinton, Tennessee, at Gamble Angus Farm. If there is anything that we can do, please feel free to contact us at anytime at the American Angus Hall of Fame at (816) 532-0811.

Sincerely,

Tom Burke Kurt Schaff Jeremy Haag (816)853-2697 (816)520-6447 (816)516-1309

It is a pleasure to welcome you back to Gamble Angus Farm “Come Roll With Us”

Vol. IV. We are excited about our sale offering this year. The most important thing that I

can tell you, is this offering is derived from the very best cow families that Gamble Angus

has to offer. Many show heifer prospects, future donor cow prospects, herd bull prospects,

and flushes will sell in the offering. You have the chance to select from our efforts, embryo

programs and our foundation cow herd. Our business is to produce females that gener-

ate income which leads to profit. Our goal is to see your purchases increase in value over

time and produce calves that generate profit. The opportunity within this offering may be

unequaled to any that we have sold in previous years.

I would like to express my gratitude to all of our Angus family. In this past year,

I have learned the value and importance of friendship. I had not given this much thought

until the loss of my brother the day after our fall sale last year. Our Angus family showed

such love and support during this time of sorrow for our family. Recently some dear friends

from Kentucky were involved in a terrible accident. The outpouring of prayers and support

for this family truly expressed the love and commitment we share in our Angus family.

When you purchase cattle from Gamble Angus, you become part of our team, but

more importantly our Angus family. Throughout the years of showing and selling Angus

cattle, there is one thing that I have come to realize; winning is great, but more important are

the friendships and memories that I will forever cherish.

I would like to take the time to thank several individuals that have been an as-

set to Gamble Angus. The first is my father, John Gamble. My dad is the backbone to this

program at Gamble Angus and was the one that introduced me to Angus cattle at the age

of 5. Through the years of raising and showing Angus cattle with my father it was a hobby

that we both enjoyed for many years together. I thought I had a passion for showing cattle

and it wasn’t until I met Lydell that I understood the meaning of commitment and dedica-

tion. He turned a hobby that my dad and I shared and turned it into one of the most premier

Angus herds in the country. Next is Chris Johnson our herdsman. Our program would not

be what it is today without the hard work, tireless efforts, and dedication that Chris and his

wife Jessica have given to this program. Chris is such an asset to our program. Tyler Wilson

has been with us for two years and we truly appreciate all that he has put into our program.

We would also like to thank Doug and Lynette Steele of Steele Land and Cattle for our new

found marketing partnership and friendship. I also want to include Josh May for his hard

work in the show barn this past summer.

To close, I would like to thank all our past years customers for their hard work and

support because it takes a lot of great people working together to make a program a great

one! If you are new to Gamble Angus, thank you for your interest in our program. From all

of us here at Gamble Angus Farm we hope you can join us on Sunday, October 30, 2011 for

the “Come Roll With Us”-Vol.IV sale.

Sincerely,

Holly Gamble Meier
