13 November 2019 GALLIC CHRISTMAS: AN EXCEPTIONAL SEASON TO DISCOVER from 21 December 2019 to 5 January 2020* To celebrate its 30 th anniversary Parc Astérix is extending its opening hours and inviting visitors to experience an exceptional family event: the Gallic Christmas. The indomitable Gauls have called a truce with the Romans, to celebrate Christmas as it should be, with a lot of snow-covered menhirs, completely crazy decorations, amazing slippery, slidey entertainment and activities, and of course attractions and new shows. A PROGRAMME FULL OF SNOWFLAKES From 21 December to 5 January 2019* visitors to Parc Astérix can enjoy 40 attractions**, 4 big shows, and Christmas-themed entertainments and activities. The Park will be transformed to celebrate a Gallic Christmas with amazing decorations including Christmas menhirs! A traditional Christmas Market will be set up in Les Rues de Paris, offering gourmet treats and unusual gifts. Everyone who loves Christmas and the Park will be enchanted by the traditional Christmas carols in a totally themed setting. And of course, visitors will be able to experience the new 4D attraction Attention Menhir! * excluding 24 and 25 December **water attractions closed during the Christmas season TOUS EN PISTE! (GET YOUR SKATES ON!) THE WINTER SPORTS VILLAGE Thrill seekers will find a new covered area devoted to winter sports activities: Tous en piste! (Get your skates on!) A covered area totally transformed into a Christmas world, with a 28-metre toboggan run, a 150m 2 children’s skating rink and a giant 400m 2 rink for adults. All offering unforgettable fun times with family or friends!
