HOW CONTACT TRACING WORKS

EARLY ENGAGEMENT OF SUSPECTED

INFECTED EMPLOYEES:Contact tracing identifying and engaging

employees who have been identified with -19

symptoms, or those who have tested positive for the virus.

IDENTIFICATION:Contacts of the suspected or positive tested employee are

identified and listed. who have had

meaningful exposure to the diagnosed employee during the period of potential transmission,

which may begin before or during the onset of symptoms.

NOTIFICATION: FOLLOW-UP, MONITORING AND

SUPPORT:Contacts are monitored regularly

for symptoms and tested for infection. Results of monitoring

help determine the most appropriate intervention,

including quarantine.

Contacts are notified oftheir status and informed

of implications and next step,such as how to find care.Depending on local public

health guidance, quarantineor isolation could be required

for high-risk contacts.
