Founder Members – Galfar was founded by Dr. P Mohamed Ali along with Sheikh Dr. Salem in the year 1972.

Dr. P Mohamed Ali is the current Vice Chairman of Galfar

Sword of honour

In 1989, the British Safety Council awarded the Sword of Honour to Galfar in recognition of the Company's dedication and its achievements in safety.

Honoured by Govt. Of India :

Dr. P. Mohamed Ali, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Galfar, receiving the coveted  Outstanding  Non-Resident Indian Award, 2004 (Bharatiya Pravasi Samman) from the then Prime Minister of India, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee.
