perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. …

23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly

to Gentiles, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks,

Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Galatians 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ

and are turning to a different gospel—

Luke 10:16b “the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

Galatians 5:4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away

from grace.

CHRIST’S GOSPEL IS GRACE


Galatians 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ

and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another

one, … 11 For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not

man’s gospel.


John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might

be saved through him.


Acts 16:29b trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas. 30 Then

he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be

saved?” 31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”


Romans 10:9 if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and

believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will

be saved.


Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so

that no one may boast.


Romans 3:10 as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one;

11 no one understands; no one seeks for God.

12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;

no one does good, not even one.”


John 14:6 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes

to the Father except through me.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the

new has come.

MAN’S GOSPEL IS GARBLE


Galatians 1:7b but there are some who trouble you and want to distort

the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to

the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said

before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a

gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.


Acts 13:45 But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with

jealousy and began to contradict what was spoken by Paul, reviling him. … 48 And when the Gentiles heard [the gospel], they began

rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

49 And the word of the Lord was spreading throughout the whole

region.

MAN’S GOSPEL IS GARBLE50 But the Jews incited the devout women of high standing and the

leading men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and

Barnabas, and drove them out of their district.

Acts 14:1 Now at Iconium they entered together into the Jewish

synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both

Jews and Greeks believed. 2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the

Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers.


1 Corinthians 16:22 If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him be accursed.


Galatians 6:12 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh

who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that

they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For even

those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they

desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.


Acts 20:30 and from among your own selves will arise men speaking

twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.
