Appleby College’s biennial Gala is an important source of additional funding for the school and brings together the community for a night of delicious food, entertainment and fun. The Gala offers a sophisticated environment with a vibrant theme that changes year after year to entice and entertain guests. Members of the Appleby community attend to foster old relationships, make new ones and enjoy a spectacular evening.

Funds raised from the Gala will be put towards two areas of need: Appleby’s financial assistance programme and the expansion of a new indoor athletics facility. On an annual basis, approximately 100 students at Appleby receive some form of financial assistance (bursaries, loans and/or scholarships). The programme, which has been operating since the foundation of the School, enables us to support talented students to attend Appleby. We are also in the early planning stages of the next major addition to Appleby’s facilities – an indoor athletics building. Designed to transform our capacity for indoor athletics, the facility would also provide a place that would accommodate the entire school population, as well as an additional performing arts space.
