2. PREMISE The story revolves around a man who is possessed by an evil sprit of unknown origin. At first he is skeptical but when he begins hearing voices he soon changes his mind The voice starts off useful telling him various things he can do to improve his life but the commands soon get more sinister

3. TARGET AUDIENCE The film will be rated a 15 so that it can achieve a balance between being a true horror but also reaching a wider audience 12a films cannot really be true horrors as there content cannot be really terrifying So that is why we decided to make the film with a 15 age rating in mind. The film will be created for people who are already well acquainted with horror and we dont plan to change peoples minds on the genre. If they dont like horror they probably wont like our film. We are creating the film with our audience in mind and we dont want to stretch our audience any bigger than it needs to be.

4. OPENING The film opens with the first case of paranormal activity that occurs with the main character. He is sleeping when he is awoken by unknown sounds and whispers. He gets up to investigate and he begins to find various things around the house that arent quite right This is followed by a shock reveal of the demon in the mirror and that is followed by the main title of the film

5. THEMES The tone of the film will be very dark so that the horror is more effective. Light colors and bright rooms will be a rare occurrence so that the mood is kept at a consistent tense and suspenseful. Jump scares will also be rarely used as we want to create a truly chilling and suspenseful film and jump scares remove that aspect.

6. FINANCES The horror genre is the 7 th most popular around so therefore we will not be using a massive budget. We know our audience will not be as big as a summer blockbuster and the film will be tailored to accommodate this. Special effects will be sparingly use to make sure that the budget is kept low and we are making sure to not hire too many crew members or actors.
