Caramelized Chestnuts is a typical product in Tuscany. The chestnuts are roasted while they are still fresh and then placed in the syrup made with sugar cane. Try the roasted chestnuts on their own, on gelato or to prepare your favourite desserts.

Caramelized fig it’s pretty much identical to our fig jam recipe (only with slightly less sugar), here they are barely touched, so that they do not break but remain perfectly whole. It’s delicious with soft cheeses, which is how it’s traditionally eaten, as part of a cheese platter.
