7. SNOWBALL BLOCKS: Take (1) D 3-1/2" square andfold diagonally and press with iron or draw a diago-nal line on wrong side. Next place D square on lefthand side of (1) A 9-1/2" square, right sides to-gether and sew on diagonal line (7a.). Flip D lowerright hand corner up to A upper left handcorner. Press. 9. A BORDER: Sew (1) A 1" x 63-1/2" strip to each side of quilt top. Then sew (1) A 1" x 46-1/2" strip to top and bottomof quilt top.10. B BORDER: Sew (1) B 1-1/4" x 64-1/2" strip to each side of quilt top. Then sew (1) B 1-1/4" x 48" strip to top and bottomof quilt top.11. F BORDER: Sew (1) F 3-1/2" x 66" strip to each side of quilt top. Then sew (1) F 3-1/2" x 54" strip to top and bottomof quilt top.FINISHING Cut batting and backing 3" larger than top on all sides.
