Early Years

In the afternoon, students from Huddersfield New College

produced a ‘sign and sing’ session for our students to join in. The

students, who are studying ‘Tourism and Leisure’chose six of our songs

to work with. As you can see students from

Castle Hill School and Huddersfield New College had a

brilliant time!

It has been another very busy term in Secondary 2. In literacy, we have been working from the story of “The Lion, The Witch and The

We produced our very own wardrobe scenes, thinking about what we would like to see if we walked through the wardrobe into Narnia. These wardrobes are on display in the secondary corridor – come and take a look!

In P2 our topic has been ‘Weather’. We have been going outside to experience the weather, decidingwhat to wear and playing ‘follow my leader’ in the senior playground.

Our favourite action has been running over the bridges. We all enjoyed watching bubbles in the wind.

S2 S4

In S4 we have been finding out about natural energy sources. We walked through the woods to observe how the trees were blown about by the wind and braved the wind up at Castle Hill to fly streamers and kites.

This week we had an Easter play morning with our friends from Berry Brow school. We enjoyed working and playing together.

We enjoyed making a big picture together where we drew lots of Easter eggs.

Yasir and Julian enjoyed making and hiding in our dens !
