Product description Epoxi Skold is a coating of the G-Cover family, its main feature is its corrosion inhibitor system, weathering resistance, sea breeze resistance and permanent water contact.

Characteristics CompositionEpoxi Skold, is emulsified in water, in its composition are used raw materials with ceramic base, which allows offering an outstanding duration of the coating and weathering resistance due to the lack of temperature transfer through the coating.

Does not contain volatile elements, no gas production when applied, the finish of the coating is 100 % washable.

Thermal expansionEpoxi Skold, has high thermal expansion coefficient, adapting itself to the expansions resulting from temperature changes in the substrate. It has flexibility, which allows it to support the expansions caused by temperature variations without presenting cracks.

Weathering resistanceEpoxi Skold, was designed as anticorrosive epoxic coating or corrosion inhibitor, the acid and alkaline weather resistance of the product allows to apply it on any kind of materials.

DensityEpoxi Skold has a really low density so it can be applied on any surface without affecting or modifying the integrity of the structure and without changing the original designed conditions.

EcologicalEpoxi Skold is biodegradable, it´s emulsified in water, does not contain asbestos or alkaline compounds, and in case of leaks or spills doesn´t harm the flora and fauna. 100% ecological product, a feature with great demand present day, the G-Cover products are certified by the SGS Laboratories.

WaterproofEpoxi Skold, is waterproof, protects the surface from contact with harmful and corrosive substances, giving longer lifespan to the applied material.

Application system.Epoxi Skold, was developed to stand bad weather, acid rain, sea breeze. The application system of the G-Cover family products does not requires deep cleansing (Sand blast), or the application of primer to anchor due to its encapsulation system.

The coating dries in 40 min at room temperature, curing takes 18 hrs. Through this method are obtained significant saves in maintenance time and costs; because it´s emulsified in water, lets you make applications without stopping the productive process.

G-Cover® Epoxi Sköld

UsesThe versatility of Epoxi Skold allows applying it practically on any surface giving waterproof and anticorrosive properties. It can be applied to metal structures, concrete, cardboard or any other material to seal the surface. Epoxi Skold can be applied to wood, glass, metal, tiles, cardboard, mortar, sheets, drywalls, durock, etc.

AplicationThe surface to apply must be cleaned from waste, oils and rust or any kind of element that may affect the adherence of the coating; cleaning can be done with broom and water. With the surface clean and dry, proceed to apply Epoxi Skold.

The product must be applied on one layer seeking that the thickness is of 20 mills. The coating can be applied to the surface directly from the bucket, without lower or changing its density. The application can be done with aspersion equipment or handtrowel.

Once the product is applied it must dry for a lapse of 18 hrs.

MaintenanceEpoxi Skold does not require maintenance, thanks to its waterproof system and adherence; does not allow the product falling, this way you can save from constant maintenance.
