Do you know
what happened
that prevented
you from
getting your
work done last
week? How about the week before? Or,
even yesterday? Most people don’t
remember one day from the next and
unless it was a catastrophic event you
probably won’t recall it. Somethings
happen so regularly that it just becomes a
way of doing business. The fact is,
whether large or small, people have
obstacles that get in the way of doing their
daily tasks.
This is why MCA Inc, of Grand Blanc
developed this neat little app called SIS®
(Short Interval Scheduling). It’s designed
for a three-day look ahead. Research
shows scheduling things past three days is
subject to change and probably will.
Are Obstacles Getting In The Way Of Progress?
Here’s how it works . You schedule
what you would like to get done that
day, and at the end of the day you score
how much you really got done. If you
didn’t finish your task, you simply type
the reason why, before you forget .
Once each task is scored, look at the
Pareto charts that the app produces.
These charts show valuable information
on reasons, big and small, of why you
didn’t get done what you set out to do.
“Okay, so what does this all mean?”
Now that you know what to look for
and what to avoid, what could you
accomplish if nothing got in your way?
Imagine how much more productive
you can be. The results are astonishing.
Not every obstacle is avoidable, but if
you can avoid a good percentage of
them, that’s profit in your pocket. Visit
www.mca.net for more information.

Genesys Athletic Club offers a new
exercise program specifically for people
with Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's
Wellness Recovery, (PWR) is a research-
based exercise technique that addresses
the cognitive, emotional, sensory and
motor symptoms associated with
Parkinson's. Angee Ludwa, a PWR-
trained physical therapist, conducts
classes every Tuesday morning from
10am to 11am at Genesys Athletic Club
in Grand Blanc Township.
Exercises are modified with varying
intensities for those at different stages of
the disease. Participants will learn how to
use muscle activation for improved
mobility, posture, coordination, flexibility
and balance in everyday functions such
as walking, sitting, standing, dressing,
and talking. Goal of PWR is to
improve the quality of life and slow
motor deterioration. Studies show that
regular neuroplasticity exercise can delay
the onset of Parkinson's symptoms
and possibly slow the disease
progression. For information on PWR,
