FZŠ Táborská in Prague(elementary school)

Last year, it was our school’s 105th birthday.

Age of our children: 7 - 16 Every September, year 9 (the oldest students)

oficially welcome year 1, our school little ones, in our school. At the end of each school year, the year 1, in return, say farewell to year 9. It is usually very emotional…

There are about 450 pupils in our school.

And 46 teachers.

Our school is situated in the centre of Prague, near Vyšehrad castle

(walking distance)

Our students love sports,

…music and acting…(we have own theatre at school)

We organize many outside activities in our school (some teachers think that there are more

activities than actual lessons!)

For example, we have project days, when we do not have lessons at school but do some

other activity outside school instead:

We have Christmas market every year, there we sell things that we make

We often decide to wear the same colours

We have MULTIKULTI days.

We spend weeks and weeks outside Prague.

We try to be as creative as possible.

Year 9 have a ball at the end of each year. It is usually also very emotional.

But of course we also study! There are lots of actions within the particular subjects.
