Entry fees Singles: 40 Euro per player, 35 Euro per player/event

The entry fees must be paid at the same time as the entries are submitted. The entry fees will not be refunded in the event of a withdrawal. Or if in accord-ance with the Organizer they are allowed to pay at the tournament this must be done before their first scheduled match, failure to do so mean that they will not be allowed to play.

The Member Association that enters a player into a Circuit tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees for that player. For all the players with-drawing in the time between the entry and the beginning of the Tournament the Organisers can invoice the entry fee to the relevant Member Association.

The entry fees become due if a player is entered and has not been withdrawn when the entry deadline passes.

Players can not be entered unless they already have a BWF ID-number. In case you wish to enter players who do not have a BWF ID-number, please contact the BWF office well in advance of the tournament, so that the players concerned can get a BWF ID-number before the closing date of the tourna-ment. No late entries will be accepted. Organizers are allowed to refuse entries if players have outstanding fees from a previous year.

It is required that every event in a particular BEC Circuit tournament has at least 8 competitors. If the required number of competitors is not met, this par-ticular event shall not count towards any ranking.

System of the Competition

K.O. system according to the Laws of Badminton and Competition Regulations of the BWF.

Eligibility Participation is open to players of any National Association recognized by the BWF.

Prize money There will be total prize money of 5.500 EUR gross (6.000 USD x 0,9165 = 5.500 EURO, in accordance with the official exchange rate from the 18th of January 2016), which will be distributed after the price given ceremony.

25% of the value of each prize money will be deducted,due to local tax rules.

The Organizer will pay the price money in cash at the prize giving ceremony to the players/pairs competing in the finals.

Withdrawal Please ensure that the Organizer is informed immediately when a player has to withdraw, together with the reason. Any withdrawal after the Sunday imme-diately preceding the draw, for any reason whatsoever, renders the Member Association concerned liable to an amount of US$ 150,00 for the inconven-ience caused by the withdrawal (as defined in BWF General Competition Regulations). If any Member Association withdraws 10 or more player from the tournament the BWF disciplinary committee will consider whether any penalty is applicable.Last day of withdrawal without penalty: 24th April 2016

No-shows Any player not showing up at the tournament, without having been withdrawn in advance, renders the Member Association concerned liable to an addition-al amount of US$ 500,00 for the inconvenience caused by the “no show” (as defined in BWF General Competition Regulations).

Visa If you need Visa for Slovenia please ask the Slovenian Badminton Association for the official Invitation letter. It is advised to arrange the VISA in time.

Condition of play

The tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton and the Competition Regulations adopted by the BWF as well as the Badmin-ton Europe Circuit Regulation.Competitors must be prepared to play at the times determined for the events for which they have entered. Competitors will be scratched if not ready to play when called.

Local transport Provided by the organizer free between the airport (Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Air-port), train stations (Ljubljana) and the hotel and the sports hall. The organizer is not able to offer transport for those players and officials who are staying not in the official hotel!

Players shall not plan their departure less than two (2) hours after their last match is planned to conclude. If a player/pair is unable to compete due to early departure, such a player/pair shall lose all the Circuit Ranking points gained at the particular tournament and BADMINTON EUROPE shall propose to BWF that the gained BWF ranking points are also removed. (Regulation 9.7 in Badminton Europe’s Circuit Instructions)

Medical service A physician will be present in the Sports hall during the tournament.

Drug testing According to Slovenian Law Drug Testing may be carried out on a random basis at any time.

Clothing and advertising

In accordance with BWF General Competition Regulations 19-23 and Regula-tion 18 in Badminton Europe’s Circuit Instructions. In applying these regula-tions the decision of the Referee shall be final.

Insurance The organizer declines responsibility and covering of costs for possible inju-ries or other damages. It is up to each participant to insure himself.
