Assessment Scheduling

• Schools have flexibility (within the assessment window) in creating an assessment schedule that best meets the needs of students and minimize the impact on instruction

NOTES:• Some students may require additional time to complete each assessment• It is important for students to complete all items• The Pause button (lower center of the test screen) will save students’

work and allow schools to test students over multiple days



Online Administration

Computer Access• Students must log into student computers with flcbt access information• School Techs should have this information

OLA Access• Students will log into the Performance Matters online platform with

pb+student id number as their user name and password

Note:• The Diagnostic in grades and subjects where the state assessments

will be given on computer must be administered on computer unless the student has paper testing as an accommodation on their IEP.

Directions and Instructions

All tests will be released each morning at 7:00am and un-released each afternoon by 3:30pm

Exceptions:• Students taking an above grade level course• Schools will have to release the appropriate test • Schools will do this using OLA Student Admin in ADMS• Only users with School View may access OLA Student Admin

Assignments link• Paper-Based Assessments will post two days before administration• Online Assessments should be administered online and will open the first

•Have been delivered to schools•Use the paper provided (Husky Digital) to print the student pre-gridded scan sheets from the PM UNIFY system for the Grade 3 ELA and the Grade 5 Science Diagnostic Assessments •Sheets must be printed on provided paper using the Sharp copiers

Student Scan Sheets can be printed by school, class, or individual student•Performance Matters School View Level access (required for printing the Diagnostics for the entire school)

•Students with paper test accommodations will need to take the test on paper with a pre-gridded student scan sheet

Note:All pre-grid answer sheets for the Grade 3 ELA and the Grade 5 Science Diagnostics will be available for print on Tomorrow, November 16, 2017.(Schools should secure all pre-grid answer sheets awaiting scanning)

Verify Student Scan Sheets You can quickly identify the scan batch files that may have errors by clicking the box next to “Show only problem sheets” to show all scan batches that need to be corrected


Schools must make sure all errors are corrected before the test window closes

How to View the status of the student scan sheets that have been scanned

•Scanview errors may include:•“false b” prior to the teacher ID on Scanview

•Means: Missing or incomplete gridded Student ID: •Click the blue number in the first column to correct

•“Failed Processing” instead of “Archived”•Means: Scanview was unable to read the scan sheets•Sheets may have been scanned upside down, blank, or printed incorrectly

•All errors must be corrected in Scanviewbefore the window closes
