PRECAUZIONI
corrispondaaquella indicatasul retrodell'apparecchio(toll.:l:10 ).
disegno):

SAFEGUARDS & PRECAUTIONS
~ Before connecting the mixer to the mains supply, make sure that
the current corresponds with that indicated on the rear of the unit
(a tolerance of:l: 10 is allowed for).
~ Do not install the mixer where the unit is exposed to excessive
heat, direct sunlight, excessive cold, humidity or dust.
~ Disturbance arousing from the electric network and the presence
of radio/frequencies may be the cause of a bad functioning of the
system. When connecting external appliances to the sound
system source, some HUM noise may be heard; this may be
caused by a ground loop among amplifiers, mixers and instruments
connected to a same source. Therefore, to avoid this
inconvenience, remove the ground poles fram the plugs of the
appliances' power cords until the source causing the HUM noise
is located (see drawing) :

SEZIONE CANALE
1) UNE --- Ingresso linea bilanciato (utilizzando Jack stereo) o
Con la manopola sul punto zero i controlli di tono non intervengono;
Monitor(18).La regolazione e' Post-Eq e Pre-Fader,ovvero risente
esternLNELLA POSIZIONE CENTRALE IL LIVELLO DEL SEGNA-
quest'ultimo.
CHANNEL SECTION
1) LlNE --- Balanced line input(with stereo Jack) or unbalanced (with
mono Jack). to connect high leve I signal sources as
keyboards,guitars,basses,electronic musical instruments, tape
recorders, compact discs,etc... It is possible to connect a record
player to the mixer only through an external RIAA pre-amplifier.
2) MIC --- XLR balanced input at high sensibility to connect low level
signal sources(microphones).
3) GAI N --- Regulates the amplification of the signals deriving from
microphones or instruments connected to the XLR and Jack inputs of
the mixer, optimizing the output amplification in respect to the levels
of these same external sources. With FADER(7) at 3/4 of its run,
adjust Gain pot in a way that the PEAK led indicator goes on as rarely
as possible.
4) EQUALIZA TION --- Allow modification of the signal through the
following controls:
High enables intervention on high tones (12KHz)
Mid enables intervention on middle tones (1KHz, 0=0.5)
Low enables intervention on low tones (40Hz)
When pots are on centre position (O), the whole equalization on the
signal is neutral; when each pot is turned to the lett, the tone signal is
lowered until-15dB, while, on the other hand, when each pot is turned
to the right, the tone signal is increased until +15dB.
The action of this 3-band equalization is post Gain; That means the
tone controls intervene on the signal atter it is regulated by the gain;
Therefore this further signal intervention could cause the channel
saturation (PEAK led indicator (5) goes on): in this case lower the
Gain control.
5) PEAK --- Luminous peak indicator, lights up when the signallevel
is near distorting point after it is regulated by the tone controls. Adjust
Gain and the tone controls in order to bring the signal to the right
output level.
6) MON --- Regulates the amount of signal to be sent to the monitor
output (18). This send is Post-Eq and Pre-Fader; that means it is
treated by the channel equalization and it is independent from the
Fader; So it is possible to carry out a stage monitor mix which is
completely independent from that of the mai n sound system.
7) FADER --- Adjusts volume level of the signal to the lett and right
Masters. When the Fader knob ison OdB position (knob ali high), the
signal reaches the maximum output level; when the knob is lowered
down, signal is continuously attenuated until it reaches the infinite
(00)
closed position. Usually the best results are obtained when the
knob is placed at 3/4 of its run towards the high position, and the Gain
adjusted in order to obtain the desired level.
8) p AN --- Regulates the stereo position of the signal in respect of the
main UR outputs. When pot is in intermediate settings (centrai
position), the output signal is sent to both UR masters in same
proportions. When pot is turned tothe right or tothe lett, the proportion
varies from right to lett, and vice versa, so that the output signal can
reach extreme positions with ali sound sent to one speaker or to the
other. To connect stereo sources, use two channels of the mixer
adjusting one Pan pot completely to the lett, and the other Pan pot to
the right. The result will be a true stereo sound output.
9) EFF 1-2
--- Allows the signal to be sent to one of the two external
effects. CENTRE (O) POSITION IS NEUTRAL AND NO SIGNAL IS
SENT TO EFFECTS; when pot is turned completely to the lett or to
right, there are respective activations of Effect 1 or of Effect 2.
Proportions of signal sent to the external effects vary when pot is in
intermediate positions.
