Warwickshire, CV8 2LD

Change is the key word for the water industry as the sector enters into the sixth investment period, AMP 6.

The focus for new investment has been on customers, what do they want? The introduction of a Totex (Total Expenditure) approach and, from 2017, a retail and wholesale market fundamentally changes the business landscape.

For Water Companies the focus is now on

- Customers

- Efficiency

- Asset management

- Network maintenance

This means a focus on networks, on Leakage management, reducing per capita consumption, expansion of metering programmes and a need to be more resilient in a changing climate, with increasing water stress.

Add into the mix rapid change in technology and information systems –

data capture, access, management and uses of data – and the way we plan and manage water networks over the next 10 years and beyond will evolve dramatically.

Join us and explore key themes for Future Networks ncluding: resilience, TOTEX solutions, a look at “Tomorrow’s World”, Smart Networks, competition, and how we use water in the home.

Day 1 Chaired by Martin Kane, Chief Engineer, Severn Trent Water, will include presentations from the Environment Agency, RPS, WRc, Oxems, Hydrosave, Yorkshire Water, Anglian Water, Exeter University, Manchester University, and London Imperial College. At the end of day one delegates have the opportunity to join sponsors, exhibitors and attendees for networking drinks and conference dinner.

Day 2 Chaired by Jeremy Downer, Retail Services Director, Sutton & East Surrey Water, will focus on Retail

issues and Metering Challenges and will include presentations from Ofwat, Waterscan, WRc, Sutton & East Surrey Water, South East Water, Thames Water, TMC and Unilever.
