FRESHERS WEEK

Freshers Fair

Held at the Cyncoed Campus within our indoor Athletics centre, NIAC. The Freshers Fair is your first chance of the year to communicate with the new and existing students at UWIC. Attended by 3000 first year students and approx 500 returning students.

The Freshers fair is already very popular with repeat business both local and national and as such sells out fast. This year we are introducing a bonus listing in our freshers guide to all stall holders who book before August, so please contact us now to make your booking!

Freshers Week Goodie Bag

A freshers goodie bag is given to students who attend the fayre by the uwic students union. If you can’t attend the fayre why not ask us to include your information in our bag?

An information magazine for first year students sent to all the 3,000 first year students before they arrive in September. This is the most popular publication of any academic year. Futura uses a dedicated team of Students and non-students to distribute flyers across all UWIC campuses and street teams to distribute to Cardiff Students. As an Students’ Union company, Futura can be relied upon to have direct access to the University campuses and a real idea of what the students want.
