THE FUSION DIRECT HIRE PROCESS
Our direct hire process is based on proven, highly effective strategies that we have honed
over the years. Here are the steps we follow:

Client Development
First, we meet with you for a complimentary consultation and define the position(s) you need to
fill. We take the time to complete a detailed “Company and Job Profile” with your hiring manager
to ensure that we have an understanding of your talent needs. We then provide our staffing
advisors with a detailed job description so they can source and screen candidates matching your
exact requirements.
Direct Sourcing of Candidates
We identify the candidates through our direct-sourcing methods, such as:
Ÿ Networking with professionals who are currently employed
Ÿ Employing our referral programs
Ÿ Searching in our up-to-date resume database and detailed candidate profiles
Ÿ Social media networking
We source candidates that are currently employed either with a direct competitor or in a similar
industry. We also access our highly successful referral program and connect with existing
candidates in our database and network. Our advisors also engage potential candidates in
various social media networks. We leave no stone unturned in our search for the “rare gems”!

Comprehensive Interview and Analysis
Once a handful of candidates have been identified, we conduct in-depth interviews either face-to-
face, via telephone, or Skype. We begin all our candidate assessments by developing a “Candidate
Profile”. This candidate profile gives us an understanding of their credentials, strengths, and
major accomplishments.
Only those candidates who meet your qualifications and express a high degree of interest in your
opportunity will be invited for further “Behavioural Interview”. We ask the candidates specific
behavioural questions to expand our understanding of their knowledge, skills, and abilities. These
questions help us discover information that is not on a resume, such as:
The Right Match
We only refer “high” and “very high” potential matches to your company. We connect with your
hiring manager to review the candidates and their qualities, and assist in arranging the
interviews.
Win-Win Agreement
We also work with your hiring manager to design the offer of employment that creates a win-win
solution for your company and the successful candidate. The terms of the offer will be mutually
beneficial to you and the successful candidate.
Reference Checks
After the interview process is successful and an offer of employment is made, we finish with our
in-depth referencing. We consider it our job to protect your company interests. As part of our
commitment, we not only perform reference checks for each candidate we place, we also take the
time to validate education and professional qualifications.
Follow-up Service
After a candidate is placed with your organization, the process is not over. We follow up with
both you (the client) and the candidate to make sure everything is running smoothly and manage
any concerns that may have arisen.
