Welcome to the Funtastic Breaks Brochure for 2021. Many of you will know me and have holidayed with me before. For those who don’t, I am Phil Tolley and have run over 175 supported trips in the last 6 years. I am a qualified counsellor and have spent nearly 25 years working in hospital and community settings.

We are a supported holiday company for adults with mild/moderate learning disabilities. We will help you choose a suitable holiday, pick you up from home, help you with your medication and monies if needed, take you to new places, help you with all activities and make sure you have a wonderful time before dropping you home. All staff are DBS checked, First Aid and medication trained.

Each trip will have at least one male and one female staff member. All customers will receive a Funtastic T-shirt, cap and photos at the end of each trip, all at no extra charge.

We understand that some customers may need extra help and we can organise extra staff where necessary. Some customers may want their own room and this can also be organised.

Funtastic Breaks Ltd (referred to herein as “FB”) is a UK

company numbered 11022297, having its registered

office address at 20 Great Plumtree, Harlow, Essex,

CM20 2NT.

OUR CONTRACT

The contract between you (“the customer”) and FB is

subject to these booking conditions.

You must be at least 18 years old at the time of taking

your holiday with us. The customer (or third party) is

responsible for all information being accurate and must

update FB of any changes.

Holidays are suitable for adults with mild/moderate

learning disabilities. FB provide basic support and

supervision. Our Health & General Questionnaire must

be completed prior to taking any holidays and it is the

customer’s (or third party’s) responsibility to update FB

of any changes prior to taking holidays.

THE HOLIDAY

Included is Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

and includes one non-alcoholic drink per meal. Single

rooms are available at an extra charge and must be

requested at time of booking. There is an extra charge

for door to door collection and an extra charge for 1:1

support. Please note that the brochure gives a guide

to holiday activities, but in some circumstances some

activities may not be suitable for all the group and in

those instances FB will find alternative activities.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is essential for all UK and abroad trips.

This is your responsibility and should cover you for

cancellation due to sickness before the trip. We are not

responsible for costs incurred if you do not have the

appropriate insurance.

PASSPORT

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid

passport to travel abroad.

BEHAVIOUR

Where any customer is challenging and deemed

unsuitable, we reserve the right to return them home (at

the cost of the customer) and there will be no refund on

the holiday. There may be other costs to the customer

for costs incurred by FB.

CANCELLATION

If FB cancels any holiday due to lack of numbers, a full

refund or transfer to another holiday will result. If the

customer cancels the following charges will apply:

Prior to departure date Cancellation charge

90 days or more Full refund

89 - 40 days 60% of total holiday cost



FB will not be responsible to pay any compensation

if we are forced to cancel/change a trip as a result of

unforeseen circumstances outside of our control, i.e. war,

civil strife, terrorism, natural disaster/bad weather etc.

LIABILITY

FB will not accept responsibility if the contract cannot

be fulfilled where there are:

• unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of FB;

• events which FB could not have foreseen; or

• events occurring which are attributable to the

customer/third party.
