Info Private sector businesses, based in the Uk, that have been trading for at least 12 months. The EU definition of an SME is an organisation with less than 250 full time equivalent employees. The Carbon Reduction Commitment typically includes businesses with an annual electricity spend greater than £500,000. EU rules on state aid mean they are unable to offer loans to organisations involved in: transport sector (for the acquisition or adaptation of vehicles), agricultural or fisheries products (production, processing, or marketing prior to the first sale), or export-related activities. Maximum grant: £200,000 any one site, upto 50% of total project costs. Info Biomass heating systems up to 300kW are eligible under Phase 2 (community/public sector). Applicants must use a certified installer and certified products. Applications are processed on a rolling basis. There is no minimum grant value. The programme has been extended until the introduction of new Feed-in-Tariffs and Renewable Heat Incentives.
