Here is what other Council employees have said about completing their Diploma of Civil Construction Management or Local Government (Operational Works)…

“I finished my qualifications in Local Government (Operational Works) and Civil Construction Management at the Diploma level in February 2017. I can say in all honesty that my learning experience was only possible through the professional approach, friendly persuasion and endless understanding of the Global Training Institute Staff. With my qualifications, I was successful in gaining promotion to a Group Manager position within the new amalgamated Council. Thanks heaps. I am now completing my

Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management with Global...” Gary Shakespear Group manager Snowy Monaro Regional Council “The Course was recommended to me by a former employee. I found the course really relative to the work I was already doing in Local Government. I found it good to have the skills I already have recognized. I found the support from Global Training was excellent. Shane my Trainer explained it all really well. Sara, my support person helped explain the process and emailed and phoned me on a regular basis to check on my progress. My assessment results come through quickly. I liked the online process. I would recommend Global Training Institute because the training was based on construction and I found it easy to understand.” Robert Potter, Burdekin Shire Council

“The course is excellent. It is very useful and relevant to work, which means it is useful for us and the organisation. Very practical management strategies. Every workshop has new ideas to implement - Communication, project, leadership… all good for the way I am to communicate with my teams and workers”. Amjad Maaya, Supervisor, Liverpool City Council.

“The qualification was particularly relevant to my work and provided a formal structure and understanding of what was required on the job. I helped place things into perspective. The training helped provide a more professional approach and an appreciation of the tasks undertaken at work. I would highly recommend the training to others in the construction industry particularly at a management level. The course opens the door to asset management, risk management, and quality management practices in a number of fields. And although I didn’t have many issues I needed help with during the process, but the girls were very helpful every time. Thanks again.” Johann Holdysz, Logan City Council “The course has been excellent due to flexibility in delivery. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Overall the course reinforced various management strategies that have been needed in my recent work environment.” Shane Mills, Advanced Diploma of Local Government (Operational Works)
