• TRINIJOVE FOUNDATION, began its activity in the training and insertion socio-laboural areas, with people in social risk of exclusion, in the year 1985. During this time we have work in an active way in the design and innovation of measures and projects, with the purpose of surpassing the situations of social exclusion.

• During this time the basic lines that have characterised our original action, and that we may emphasise are:

• That all the services and resources offered to the population are for free.

• Take part from a global vision, combining occupational information, training promotion and free time.

• To give priority to the territory, and the need to be open to the people from the rest of the city, who are affected by the unemployed and social exclusion problems.

• We begin other projects and to work in Catalonia, Spain and European nets, which becomes effective in its optimum moment, with the management of European programs such as Horizon, Integra and Equal.

SERVICES WITH QUALITY• Since 1999 in Trinijove Foundation we have

been involved in the process of implantation of the normative UNE_EN_ISO 9001:2000 and in 2002 we obtained the corresponding certificate.

• During this years we have make an effort of adaptation to the new social problematic issues that has been arising, inside a dynamic context and in a continuous transforming environment. If at the beginning and yet today,, we priories the intervention with social exclusion young people, women without scholar knowledge in social risk situation and gipsys and with the pass of the years, we have extend our action to people in long term unemployment situation with social problematic, and immigrant people.

• If we had to remark of the initial work the principal characteristics, that would be the free character of all the services and resources that has been put on work and the innovative character of the projects that are executed, that in many cases, have anticipated answers in front of social problematic that years after has been considered pioneer and considered as examples to follow having a multiplying effect.

• This demonstrable background, has given as a result a high level of institutional confidence by the public administrations, voluntary people that collaborate with Trinijove Foundation and the private customers, with whom we have been working during these years.

• Environmental Education Trinijove begin to work in sensitize and to make conscious all young people and kids about the importance of environment by giving training courses and workshops. Because Trinitat’s neighborhood Trinitat is surrounded by a kind of high way, that pass all around and have a lot of high tension towers located here and this is a risk for people and environment so we work to make people conscious of this problem.

Organization of environmental education courses

We organize environmental courses special for our costumers for enterprises as hotels, schools, institutes or entities who ask for.

• This are the services we offer:• Keeping and conservation of green areas for

enterprises, schools, administrations, neighbors communities, etc.

• Specific gardening tasks: special pruning, cleaning parcels, watering installations, design of gardens.

• Cleaning specific areas

• Restoration of natural places: restoration of dumpers and degraded areas, reparation of rivers, erosion prevention and action.

• Preventive measures for fire: protection frames, water points, special pruning, fire preventing plans, studies of specific actuations,...

• Restock, forester and forest management, and others.

• For enterprises, institutions, administrations and particulars: • Studies, projects and execution.

• Forest actuations.

• Protection frames against the fire.

• Reforestation of burned and degraded and erosion areas.

• Cleaning of parcels.

• Phyto-sanitary services.

• Landscape.

• Rivers recuperation.

• Recuperations of dumpers and stone pit.

• GREEN AREAS AND FOREST

• The 17th. Of March of 2004, the DEPARTAMENT DE BENESTAR SOCIAL, solved in a favorable way the request inscription of Trinijove as Special Working Center and to inscribe it to the registry of special working centers with the following number T00240.

This Centre is created from the need to offer a proper service to the people who undergo some physical or psychic handicap that come to the Foundation seeking alternatives work that take in care their handicap problems.

The creation of the Special Working Centre has as a purpose in the Foundation to offer to disfavoured people a worthy job were they can develop them selves professionally and as individuals.

The Special Working Centre pretends to be a platform to impel, as far as possible, total integration, by the access to a job in a normal company.

The kind of the tasks to do by the workers o the CET, increases the personal development due to the permanent implication with society, in order to increase the autonomy and self confidence. This allows the individual to become aware of the importance of the contribution to society for the attainment of a respectful sustainable development with the environmental.

TRAINING PROJECT

> Training > Occupational trainingTraining centre in collaboration with the INEM since 1985 and later with the Work

Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

• The training courses in the following fields: gardening, sewing machinist, social worker, computer, internet initiation, welder, cook, gardening, hotel cleaners, waiters,

• training is an instrument in order to obtain a job. A lot of young people and women of our neighborhoods got a lot of difficulties to find a job, because they don’t have a defined profile. Also there are workers that are run out of work and have to get trained in professional course in order to get a new job. That’s why the Trinijove Foundation works these aspects combining occupational courses with an elementary and basic training depending in each person level.
