Over the autumn term, year 3 explored dinosaurs, fossils and The Stone Age. We enriched our knowledge through quality facilitation by our teachers, research, homework, visits by experts, school trips and parental involvement.

Visit to the National History Museum

Dinosaurs and fossils

Dinosaurs walked the face of this earth for over 160 million years. They ranged from plant eating herbivores to fierce flesh eating carnivores. Some were omnivores which meant they ate both plants and meat.

In addition to our National History Museum experience..

Experts from the science dome also visited. It was an out of this world experience. We got to see some dinosaur fossils like these:
