Exam structure

Get a head start with the globally-recognised CIMA Diploma in Performance Management. On this route, you can enjoy up to five exemptions. Just sit for the P1 and P2 exams. What’s in it for you?This programme is designed to enhance the skills in the area of management reporting and linking structured and unstructured data to present and drive the performance of an organisation. Students will receive a certificate when they pass these exams.

Exemptions and examsExams are taken online at a Pearson Vue exam centers. Students who register will be given exemptions for the following subjects:

BA1 , BA2 , BA3 , BA4 and Operational Case Study exam

P1 Management Accounting

Cost accounting system (30%)

Budgeting (25%)

Short-term planning (30%) subject to risks and uncertainties (15%)

P2 Advanced Management Accounting

Planning and cost analysis for competitive advantage (25%) control and management of the centers of responsibility efficiency (30%)

Long-term planning (30%) management and control of risks (15%)

What’s next?Students who pass the P1 and P2 exams will graduate with the Diploma in Performance Management.

The Diploma in Performance Management is a qualification in its own right and also forms a formal entry route into the CIMA Professional Qualification. Once students successfully graduate from this qualification they can progress onto the CIMA Professional Qualification and write the Management case study exam. Students must complete a one-week bridging course. Contact your local CIMA office to find out more about this route.

• The first year’s subscriptions fees • One attempt at each exam (valid for 24 months) • All exemptions

Period of completionStudents must complete this programme within 24 months. If they are unable to do so, they will need to re-enroll in the programme. New fees will apply.

Management Case Study Exam

Competency Weighting is the basis of distribution of marks from various sections in the exam. You will have to obtain minimum threshold marks (approximately 1/3) for each competency along with a scaled score of 80 to pass the exam.
