micro duct/PVC pipe with suitable clampings as per

EI No.- EI/ACCESS NETWORK/11-12/13 (House

wiring of FTTH) and P.O.

Sample pits to be taken and trenching depth should

be as per EI No.- D-001 Issue IV dated 31.01.2007

(Laying practices of Optical fibre cable)

6 Optical link budget

RX sensitivity > -28 dbm at ONT Location

Power Loss calculated is as below

(Length in KM X 0.34 db/KM)+(0.15 db X no of

connectors)+ (0.1 db X no of splices) + (3 db

margin of error). Splitter losses to be added.

7 ONT installation

ONT, UPS to be wall mounted near A/C supply

point as per EI No.-EI/ACCESS NETWORK/11-

12/13(House wiring of FTTH) and P.O.

Hardware/software conformity of installed

equipment to be verified as per BOM.

8 Connectivity details and IP

details.

OLT to ONT path connectivity details.

9 Check of services Check services HSI, VOIP, IPTV, RF Overlay as per

the tariff plan.

10 Interruption Test

Physically isolated fibre at splitter/ONT and

reconnect.

System should start-up without any intervention.

11 Session stability Session stability to be carried out for 2 hrs.

12 Verification of data speed

for Triple Play Services

FTTH is capable of data speed for downstream up to

2.4 Gbps and upstream up to 1.2 Gbps
