Qf3L:Contact with Qf3U marked by graybrown, pink brown silty sand andcoarsely graded pebble conglomerate.Qf3L varies from coarse, massive, pebbly sand to poorly sorted cobbleconglomerate (massive).
Qo:Massive, red brown cobble/boulderconglomerate with coarse, gritty poorly sortedred brown sand matrix. Numerous grussifieddioritic clasts coated with CaCO3. Also characterizedby massive pebble conglomerate with coarse sandmatrix moderate to weakly cemented.
FAULT: N28W/80SWFault in Qo, no offset of Qf3L. Fault manifested in Qoby pebble lineation and fracturing, truncation ofcobble and sand bed. Fracturing of Qf3L and Qf3Uextend to ~2' from surface. Inactive fault, does notoffset Late Pleistocene unit.
FAULT: N20W/85NE~3" apparent vertical offset of Qf3U/Qf3Lcontact across zone. Extension or lateralmovement accounts for Qf3L 10" keyed intofault zone. Qf3U soil also downdropped ~6".Potentially active, needs further study.
