Joining a Hamachi Network. 1. Power on Hamachi. A Hamachi IP Address will be assigned to you. In this case is 25.85.235.66.

2. Create a new network. Go to Network > Create a new network. In this case the new network is named

as FSXken.

3. Give other players the name of your network and IP address for them to join.

4. You'll see another player connected to the network you created.

Hosting FSX Multiplayer 1. Open FSX.

2. Click Local network (LAN). Type in the player name of your choice. Click SIGN IN.

3. Click Host a Session.

4. Session Type = Free Flight. Session name of your choice. Session availability = Make this session visible

to everyone > check on your Local Area Network (LAN) > Click NEXT.

5. Select role = Pilot. Choose an aircraft and current location. Click NEXT.

6. Maximum players according to the number of pilots flying.

7. Click NEXT.

Joining a Hosted FSX Multiplayer flight.

1. Take note of the hosts hamachi IP address. In this case 25.66.137.254

2. Click 'Connect Directly'.

3. Enter the Hosts IP address.

4. Click 'Find Sessions'.

5. Choose your Aircraft. Click 'OK'. You will be directed automatically to the airport the Host chose.

Common Issues:

Issue 1. Terrain Details load again, and again, and again.

Solution 1. Try unchecking the autoload options in the FSFDT Control Panel (the icon that looks like a

traffic light in the task tray).

Note. You'll find this in the Options menu in the FSFDT Control Panel. After that you'll have to start the

FSFDT Control Panel manually when you want to fly on VATSIM.

Solution 2. In any case, tracked this down to the FSCopilot function TIME SYNC, SYNC TO ZULU TIME

AUTOMATICALLY (located in the Addons menu). Uncheck this feature and the problem goes away.
