INSTALLATION OF FRONT HITCHRECEIVER FOR RANGE ROVER P38

1. Remove bumper bolts and side clips

2. Remove foglights vents and electrical connectors

3. Remove bumper assembly by pulling like drawing

4. Before removing crush cans of your vehicle, please trace some markings on vehicle frame and on crush cans in order to replace those at their same exact location

5. Untighten nuts and bolts to remove the crush cans. You can trash bolts and plates retaining those, stronger ones are in your Front Hitch Receiver Kit. Redrill Frameholes to 12mm and apply some antirust paint.

6. Redrill Crush cans holes to 12mm and apply some antirust paint. Pay attention to drill a 3 rd hole on the crushcans with 13 mm this time using the Front Hitch Receiver has template (red circle on drawing shows approximate location. Applysome antirust paint.Reinstall Crush cans over frame and realign with your marks

7. Install 7/16 bolts with thread pointing to the center of the vehicle Bolts have been provided with the correct order of washers and nutUse a slight hammer tap if necessary because it's a snug fit. Do not tighten fully untillcomplete assembly.

Realign crush cans with your marks and tighten nuts progressively.

8. You'll need a dremel tool to do some slight cuts on the bumper vents. Those photos may give you an idea of the cuts. Upper cut wasn't necessary on those given the fact that the bumper when correctlyinstalled on it's crush cans all the way up wasn't touching Front Hitch Receiver.

9. Refit Bumper

10. Reinstall foglights connectors and fogliths vents

11. Tighten bumper bolts and reinstall side clips

12. You can now plug anything that is compatible with a 2inch receiver and tighten both boltson each side of the receiver in order to avoid sway and rattles.
