From a young age, Yessica loved everything about school; she started getting many awards and plaques, such as, National Junior Honor Society, Peer Mediation awards for Peer Pressure and awards for getting on the school’s Honor Roll. Yessica studied French for 6 years for which she received many awards for as well. Although, Yessica did not graduate from High School, in 2016, she decided to go back to school and get her GED. Before moving to Charlotte, Yessica worked in a retirement community, called Peconic Landing, located near the well-known Long Island Sound.
