From the Principal At this me of year, parents oſten begin asking about class placements for the next year. All parents are reminded that the allocaon of students to classes is the professional and operaonal responsibility of school staff. Teachers and support staff put a great deal of me into the decision making around teaching and learning groups, gender, friendships, and support provisions. Each child is considered as an individual and placed into classes where they have a chance at opmal learning. We are unable to accommodate requests for classroom teachers, if you have a request for your child to be separated from another child please email the classroom teacher and the sector Deputy. P/1 – Mr Weir; 2/3- Mrs Fletcher and 4-6 Mr Mackenzie. If you are aware of friends or family that have not enrolled their child and are intending to do so for the 2021 school year please also encourage them to contact the office asap. Similarly if your family is leaving PSPC please advise in wring the desnaon school for your child/ren to assist with accurate staffing numbers. The PSPC Connect to Prep Orientaon program for Prep 2021 starts next week. All students who have submied enrolment documents to the school administraon to aend Prep in the 2021 school year are invited to aend. We will host 3 X 1 hour visits over 3 weeks. Due to COVID– 19 restricons these will be capped at a maximum of 20 students per visit. Reservaons for the classroom visits will be taken on enrolment and confirmed via email closer to the event. Connect to Prep is in place to assist your child with preparing for their prep year, to make new friends and to provide parents with informaon to assist them with preparing their child to commence school. Parents and future Prep students are encouraged to aend all 3 session to ensure they receive the most relevant informaon available. Dates to Remember: P&C meeng – Wednesday 11th November 5.30pm Connect to Prep – Prep 2021 transion days Week 7,8, and 9. Reports emailed home – Monday 7th Dec Final day of school – Wednesday 9th Dec – please note this change from previous years. School will be closed Thursday 10th and Friday 11th December.
